This next clip showcases the work that was done in Birmingham to promote Golf Roots through fun-based Tri-Golf festivals. Youngsters progressed from local events to the National Golf Roots Festival which was held at Loughborough University:
A Golf Roots project delivered under the name ‘The Back Nine’ showed how golf can be delivered in inner city areas using an innovative approach. Based in East London, the project was backed by Citi Bank and involved young people playing Golf Xtreme games at iconic venues including the Olympic Park and Spitalfields Market:
