Having the correct equipment, and equipment which you have confidence in, is very, very important in golf and just as essential is having equipment correctly fitted to you. If, for example clubs are too long or too short you will find it more difficult to play well and it shouldn't cost very much to have them checked and corrected.
Also bear in mind that the lie angle of clubs does change with use, especially if you spend a lot of time hitting off mats at the driving range so get your Pro to have a look and check this once a year or so. It's the attention to little details like this that helps your game!!
Over the next few weeks we will be expanding this section to incorporate a wealth of additional infornation:

We start the club section using a series of clips filmed at Sigma Golf who produce the PGA brand of clubs and accessories, ideally suited to beginners or high handicap golfers. More will be added to this section in the next few weeks.
